Welcome to Term 2, everyone; we hope you enjoyed a wonderful Easter break with your loved ones. The tamariki have returned to school refreshed after the break, and eager and ready to learn. It’s so nice to see them all. 

We have some exciting news to share with you. Mrs. Hartles welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Blake, who arrived seven weeks early. We are thrilled to report that mother and baby are doing well.  Please join us in congratulating Kelsey and Johno on the arrival of their bundle of joy!

We are pleased to welcome Katherine Dixon back to our school community. Katherine will be with us three days a week to cover the release for our teachers, and we are delighted to have her support for the rest of the year.

As we move into Term 2, we also start our Winter Code Sports. Practices have already begun, and there is much excitement as uniforms get sorted, and children prepare for the upcoming season. As parents, we understand the challenges of juggling multiple activities and getting the right child to the right place at the right time with the right gear. Our role of being our children’s sideline cheerleaders kicks in, and we are there to help remind our children to focus on the joy of the game and their own personal development throughout the season.

We are grateful for the many coaches and managers who generously give their time and energy to support our sporting teams. We would not have such a thriving sports community without your dedication and hard work, and we thank you for all that you do.

We look forward to another fantastic term.
