Nearly there everyone!! The end of the year is looming and only a couple more things we as a PTA have an involvement with.
First is the Puketaha Christmas Picnic, where normally our involvement is minimal, but this year we have decided to run the barbeque and sell some sausages. We bought quite a few for the EWCS Athletics Day which was cancelled, so we may as well try and sell them at this event. Families are still invited to bring their own takeaways or picnic dinner but just know that there will be the sausage sizzle option available. Santa is making an appearance so children will be welcome to have a chat, deliver lists, have a photo and receive a lollipop. We are not doing the tractor lolly scramble as there were some safety concerns expressed. The last event is the School Disco on Monday 12th December in the PAC. We have booked the DJ and know the kids look forward to this fun way to start the last week of school. We will be selling some sweet treats, drinks and have the sausage sizzle again.
Thank you to those who have supported the Holland Road Distillery fundraiser. It’s success surprised us all, and has raised over $1,600 which has topped off a record year.
Our final PTA meeting is a thank you to all of you who have helped over the year and will be at the Lonestar 7.30pm next Tuesday 6th December. Please come along for our Christmas wrap-up.
