Lions Club
Lions are ordinary men, women and young people from all walks of life. We are united in our desire to make a difference by contributing our personal time and talents to help other people. In New Zealand 9,500 members belong to 350 clubs, we are community volunteers. It is estimated Lions Clubs contribute more than $100 million each year for charitable organisations here and in the Pacific Islands. We are proud that every dollar raised from the public goes to the cause.
East Hamilton Lions Club has an annual book fair which raises money that goes back directly into our local community. If you are interested in helping us fulfil our pledge to serve the community in various ways, please give us a call.
We are a small and friendly club who would like to have new members join us. It is not a lot of work when shared. We meet for a dinner meeting on the second Monday of the month and a business meeting on the fourth Monday.
If you are interested in joining us or require more information, please phone one of the contacts below. Also, feel free to come to a dinner meeting to meet with us.
