Good luck for those teams entered in the PTA’s Quiz night on Saturday at The Keg. As predicted, it was a quick sell-out, so it should be a fun night once again.  Lots of prizes up for grabs and raffle items, (plus the odd sneaky answer to buy) so bring cash! 

Spring Fair

Our recent meetings have also touched on the subject of the Term 3 Spring Fair. For the benefit of newcomers, this event is held late September every two years and takes a lot of support from our school community to organise and run successfully.   The 2019 one was held on a perfect Spring day and was the most successful one to date, so this time around we will be largely following that same model, albeit with a few tweaks.  We are appealing early to our parents/supporters to keep this event in the back of your mind as we will be calling on you to provide assistance in various ways. This help could take many forms, for example, putting your name on rosters to help on the stalls, providing sponsorship to help pay for hireage of gear for the day, sponsoring food items to cook, baking goods to sell, contributing items for the garage sale or just helping your children with tasks they are assigned. Please also keep an eye out for goods that you may have access to which potentially could be silent auction items or that could make up raffle items. Every little bit combines to make this event into a much-admired event that it is for our community. This year the funds raised have been earmarked for a new Learning Through Play area which will be a real asset for the school for many years to come.
