Principal's Message
Dear Parents, Caregivers and Children,
A relatively short note from me this week.
It is nice to be able to reflect on the term with a smile and sense of achievement. Term One last year was riddled with disruption and as a result we missed out on many experiences that provide positive learning outcomes for our children and that bring our community together.
Two that stand out to me are the introduction of our Teacher/Whaanau Catch up's and our Greats and Grands Day. Both these days achieve the above, and on behalf of our team, I would like to thank you for your engagement in your child's learning and our school in general.
As we lead into our last week of the term, I would like to remind all of us that we continue to finish strong. I often talk to our children that at Puketaha School "we wind up". We wind up with our execution of being deliberate. How are we continuing to be more curious, more collaborative, show leadership, resilience and role model our school values. It is through these dispositions where we are able to make our most meaningful contributions and Week 10 of the term is as important as any to do so.
Warm Regards
Geoff
