Dear Parents, Caregivers and Children,
In preparation for Term 4 we wanted to provide you with the one place to take note of the many updates and forms of communication that have been going home over the week.
Next term we have the sporting codes of Hockey, Basketball, Cricket and Touch starting and each code are asking us to get registrations in early. Please chat to your children and see if they are interested in playing any of the sports listed (all newsletters are attached as PDF's below) and then sign them up via Kindo. This should be done by Tuesday 29th September please.
In addition to this we are hosting a 'Good Sports' information evening hosted by Sport Waikato here at school on Wednesday 15th October starting at 6.00pm in our PAC. This is an event for all parents, especially those who have children who play sports. Please see flyer attached.
Tomorrow night we have annual Roopu Puuawai Production with our Year 5 and 6's starting at 6.00pm and our Year 7 and 8's following after. Both productions should be finished by 9.00pm.
Information on Term 4 Camps for Roopu Maahuri and Roopu Puuawai 5/6 have also been sent home in the last few weeks. Please make sure you are up to speed with all these details including payment via Kindo.
We hope you get a chance to take a breath during the school break and enjoy your young ones.
Warm Regards
Geoff

As a way to support our Covid19 response and in preparation for any change of level or restrictions, the school has purchased reusable masks. These will be given to each child. If you would like to make a contribution towards the cost of these, you can do so via Kindo. We have put a purchase order there of $5.00. Please note this is not compulsory.
We have also purchased extra masks, if you would like to purchase one for yourself or other family members payment can be made via Kindo or cash. Pick up from the School Office.
We are now under Level 1 restrictions, what this will mean for us:
- Water fountains will be back open - however, Drink bottles are still recommended.
- No need to use the Puketaha School App to sign in - We do recommend you use the official Covid19 QR Code though.
- Drop off time is now 8.20am again. Please do not send your child to school earlier than this. It becomes uncomfortable for our staff to remind our families of the rules, we do not have many.
- Hand washing will still be encouraged before meal times and all day Zoono hand sanitise will still be available for children to use when they arrive at school.
Thanks again for all your support.
