Thank you
Dear Parents, Caregivers and Children,
While the weather has been dampening, our enthusiasm and energy towards learning has most definitely not. The conversations and actions our children and teachers are having are right on point and as a result are keeping all involved pretty busy, which personally I see as a good position to be in... busy that is.
At times we can associate being busy with having too much on / too much to do. However, being busy or even better being a busy person is a great attribute. Busy people have a willingness for action and a desire to contribute more often than not, it is their bias. By default they are more likely to make mistakes and be wrong. That's because they do more, are more active (Dan Carter was always going to miss more kicks than most people). The more you put yourself out there, the more likely errors can sneak in. The flip side is this, busy people are also more likely to make a difference, have an impact and be a positive influence in their environment. Their errors/mistakes are combated by this impact.
The best part with all of this, is that being busy is a choice, for us here at school it works and works well. We always need busy people, people who are willing to do, make a difference and have an impact.
Our Spring Fair is now only weeks away and our Spring Fair Committee are continuing to make things happen behind the scenes. It is shaping up to be an outstanding day for all. You may have noticed the whiteboard at our entrance way as you walk into the school. If you are able to lend some time during the day to support with our stalls that would be much appreciated. Just use the sign up sheet on the board to choose a stall and time slot.
Thanks for the ongoing support of our special place.
Warm Regards
Geoff
